Rebuilding my 125

The kole tang is now my favorite. It's busy all day long. It started as a good algae eater, but I'm afraid that it's getting used to the meaty foods everytime I feed. I'm still looking for a smaller yellow tang, but I might just keep it like this so that I don't overstock.
I have a blue hippo, the kole tang, two ocellaris, a sailfin tang, 5 chromis, a royal gramma, and a striped blenny and lawnmower blenny. I now have a GBTA and the clowns are trying to get closer each day.

I took a picture of my clowns getting cozy with their new GBTA. I'm glad to know I'm doing something right.

You wont notice your sailfin eating hair algea too much till it gets older. he still looks kinda young and when they are that young they prefer protein over the veggies. I have a baby red sea sailfin and hes just starting to eat the GHA and not the protein. Id suggest that you mix in with your meaty food some emerald green or NORI or put some NORI on the wall.

I've been supplementing with nori and it eats it with no problem. I have some Emerald Green but haven't tried it yet. Thanks.

Update: So after my last crash, I had a Yellow Tang that came in with something and pretty much wiped out all my fish except for a Hippo and Sailfin Tang and a Shrimp Goby. I've been concentrating on getting my tank updated into the 21st century and supplemented it with a doser, Tunze controller and a camera. I just finished mixing and hooking up the additive gallons.

All my return lines for the additives and ATO have been neatly held in place.

I'm just waiting for a UV sterilizer to come in and get set up.

Harbor Freight pump? I had a solar fountain pump from them that lasted almost a year to circulate my RODI storage...

I thought about it, and I think I'm just going to T off of my Mag 3 which feeds my double reactor. I have it powered down to give a light tumble on the GFO, and I think that's why the pump is a little louder than usual. Hopefully this will reduce some of the back pressure.

I tee'd off of my Mag 3 and everything is working perfectly! Tomorrow I'll tweak the water flow through the sterilizer and get it where I want it. There was more than enough flow to run both items which was good because the last thing I wanted to do was add another heat creating pump in the sump.

I don't think I can add anything else, I'm maxxed out on room down there. As a matter of fact, I had to suspend the sterilizer from the top of the cabinet.
