Rec'd CL/Retunr pumps for 260G

I've posted this before at another section, but I'll try here also:

I'm making the shopping list for a new 260 g. tank, and need some advice on which pumps choose for CL & sump return. What about:

Closed Loop: Sequence ReeFlo Hammerhead Pump, 5800 GPH

Sump Return: Sequence ReeFlo Barracuda Pump, 4500 GPH

I will pipe the Barracuda one with a mainfold so I can diverse some flow to reactor, chiller, etc..

What do you think?

P.S: I've heard about a 'OM 4 way' current divider, but did not found info on this gadget.. Anyone can point me in the right direction? i.e: what 'OM' stands for..

Here is the link to OM (Oceans Motions ). They have a 4-way or an 8-way!



On the return pump. One difficulty you might encounter is trying to balance the flow you need to different equipment. You will certainly have to put valves in each arm and carefully adjust each to get the correct flow. It is easier to use seperate pumps

Thank you Fiziksgeek for the link and advice.. Besides the mainfold issue, do you feel that the Hammerhead & Barracuda are correct sized for a 260 gal?. I would chose a Dart for the return if not were because I want to feed some other equipment with it through mainfold (Ca reactor, Deltec FR & Chiller).
