Hi Roger,
Received my 9015 skimmer, and it is already installed. Awesome bubble production - it has bubbles up to the 500 ml mark even though it is in obvious break in mode, and is not yet producing due to reduced surface tension while it breaks in.

The bottom plate (for in-aquarium useage) arrived cracked but useable - should I contact Premium Aquatics for replacement (who I purchased it from), or you?

Just a note in case you hear from people with poor bubble production. My skimmer arrived with the air line attached to the venturi, but the venturi was not attached to the pump. No problem, as I always take things apart to see how they work before I install them, but it might confuse some users.

Also, the prototype stream impeller works great! Although I think streams are essentially silent, when I listened with my ear to the tank for the difference, the new impeller is much quieter,

Thanks Mike. Yeah, they usually don't attach the venturi because if the pump shifts in transport it can break the nozzle if it is firmly connected. I can send you a new plate, just send me a PM and I'll be sure it gets down.

how much skimmate do you get per day and what is your bio-load?
(i get about 125mL/day on a 200gal system of 8 fish - the air screw is totally out)

Albert, with only two percula in a 30 gal for bioload, I probably get about 30 ml a day, but I get a fairly substantial sludge build-up on the cup sides that I clean daily. It's an impressive skimmer, when I clean the glass, the skimmer goes into overdrive, and appears to collect everything I cleaned from the glass in about 20 minutes.
