This thread made me depressed. WAY too many animals is a small area.

:thumbdown

im confused:confused: why do you think this is too many fish in the tank It looks to me like there is plenty of room in the tank. the clowns live in the anem and the dotty has plenty of room to move. the other corals look to be doing fine also.

Nah, it's because generally speaking 12 gallons is enough space for two, MAYBE three fish...and cramming that big of an anemone in there with three fish and some snails is just...mean.

IMO, that nem has outgrown your tank...might be time to look into upgrading.

On a slightly less "trollish" subject, I'm glad you've had such luck with your anemone.

I agree, the nem is definitely gonna be taking over the tank soon... should look into a bigger tank. Otherwise it looks good!!

once the nem gets so big that he expands into the entire tank, i'll remove the dotty :)

btw, i feed both corals seen in the pictures a piece of krill every week.

and the nem gets a silverside once a month

clowns get flakes, mysis, and live freshwater bloodworms (the dotty will only eat those worms and he goes nuts for them)

Still might be worth checking into upgrading to a bigger tank...I saw a 29g "Saltwater Kit" for like $230, so it's something to think about.

I am not a troll.
I have never had to make a statement like that before but you put giant pictures of your little tank on RC to get feedback. I gave some. I really am sorry that you dont agree but I really do feel that it is a very cramped tank and that it is mean to the inhabitants. Sorry if you dont agree.
The longer that his pathetic tank is displayed to the members of Reef Central to see, the more highly negative feedback you will gain. That is what you wanted, feedback or you would have never posted the pics.

On further thaught, I am sorry that this disagreement happened. I did not mean to hijack the thread and I apologize that I voiced my thaughts in this way.

On further thought, instead of trolling, pay attention in English class..

This is just about the most horrible post I have seen in a long time.
Do you understand anything about proper care for anemones?
Do you understand what the term bioload means?
A 12G nano is appropriate for two or three fish and some corals. It is not an appropriate long term home for a large nem like that.
I'll just about guarantee you that the lighting is insufficient, the nem has nowhere to expand or move around, and there is going to be some serious warfare in there between your two existing corals and the nem in about no time flat. Your nitrates are going to go through the roof if they aren't already and everything in your tank is going to get nuked.
