Recommendation for 180

I just want to confirm that the 6101 with the 7095 controller is the way to go for my 180 with center overflow BB SPS tank?

Also I have a large eurobrace, and only an inch or so of room between the back of the tank and the wall. Is that enough room to slip the magnet mounting behind the back tank wall?

The magnet is only 5/8" think, it will fit but will be difficult to position most likely. That is the set I would recommend.

I wish I had a better sense how those magnets worked or were installed.

Is it like the algae cleaners?

Do the magnetic holders work like a magnafloat?

If so, I should be able to place the outside magnet at the top and work it down from the inside.
