Recommendation for flow control needed!

I am having some troubles picking the right peices of equiptment for flow control in my new tank, and please ask for your assistance.

The tank will be a AGA 75G w/corner overflow, 220/3 skimmer, 2x175W & 2x40W actinic.

Lots of old well aged liverock & a small layer of sugar sand, no more then 1".

Inhabitants invert wise are a BTA, RBTA, a pair of colonial BTA's, mushrooms, zoos, polyps, macros & assorted softees, as well as a T. maxima "Gold".

Since there are a number of anemones, and they are primarily the focus of my attention, as well as clams, I want to have as little equiptment in the tank as possible.

I was hoping to find a Stream that is applicable to my needs. I was thinking a 6000 w/single controller & photocell. This would hang off the overflow on the left, and point across the back of the length of the tank, where there will be a pile of rock on the far right, at a 45 degree angle from the back to front, designed to provide attachment sites for the anemones. There will be a second pile on the left side, where the clams, discoma, zoos ect will be, the flow should be a lot slower there. the pile will be designed to slow the impact of the water.

I also considered a 6060 in the same location, and this might work just as well, possibly better.

Please advise!! :)

I would get either a 6000 and single controller inside a Stream Rock and position it opposite the overflow so it is going against the return to create maximum turbulence or I would get a 7400/2 with a single controller and an extension tube 1001.76, a extra strainer 1001.79 and a T 1001.80. I would use these pieces to extend the intake below the rocks and T it to use two strainers. With all those anemones these are the two set ups that are 99% anemone safe. The Stream is more of a risk especially without the Stream rock. I have always used the 7400/2 with the intake and T to have a gentle sweeping intake off the bottom behind the rocks when I keep anemones- it borders on impossible for them to be injured by the pumps.

Thank you good Sir.

The only problem now is getting all these pieces in a week, 7400/2 with a single controller and an extension tube 1001.76, a extra strainer 1001.79 and a T 1001.80. So long as you think this is enough flow for my purposes. I was thinking a 7200/2 as that is what I have access to, but didn't think that would be enough.

You want the 7400/2 or at least a 7300/2. The other pieces are all in stock here but I am out of the pumps, Marine Depot and some of the local vendors are the only possibilities for having those in stock. Remember I leave Monday and wont be back from Germany until the 23rd. I will have no phone support but stuff will still be shipping from orders faxed in and I will still be online. Basically if you need it we should get on it now.
