Recommendation Help

I have a 70 gallon Oceanic tank and I currently use the koralia power heads. I am finding them frustrating to get consistent controllable flow. I have 1 k-2 and 2 k-3's in my tank and still don't get what I would consider good flow.

I have a Tunze 9105 protein skimmer (I know a little overkill, but don't want to buy again when I upgrade) and love the quality and ease of use. What would you recommend I use for a 70 gallon reef tank?

Thank you in advance for your help.

What types of corals do you plan to keep or are you keeping in this tank? My first thoughts are a pair of 6055s, if it is an all sps tank you then may want to consider supplementing with a 6045 or 6025 for instance if there are a few spots not getting what you want or just want to speed things up, but this could be determined and added at a later time if so desired.

My last tank was a 58gallon with a eheim 1260 return pump and a pair of 6055s was a bit of a mixed reef and I was happy, had it been all sps I probably would have thrown a extra smaller nanostream pump in for my liking for an example

Shawn: thank you for your help. Got my first 6055 and single controller and it is terrific. Great flow and reall quiet. I have two hydors at the other endof the tank until I can replace them with the 2nd 6055. Thanks again for your help, the Tunze quality is terrific.
