recommendation on return pump

I have a 120gl display tank with a 40gl sump that I'm setting up. I purchased a brand new "Quiet Ones Pro 6000" https://www.lifegardaquatics.com/products/quiet-one-aquarium-pumps-pro-series-3/ and have it all setup but it's waaaayyy to loud. I have the return split with about a 5' head and while this pump can move a ton of water, it's vibrating and sounds like an old washing machine.

I've pulled it and checked all the innards to make sure it's not got a chunk missing from the impeller so I'm setting it aside for emergency use only and on the hunt for a nice, quiet (yet powerful) pump.

Any recommendations?

5' head
submersible
at least 600 GPH

Sicce 3.0 It puts out about 475 gph at 5ft of head. Quiet and reliant. Uses rubber stubs on feet rather than suction cups. Do you have a fuge?
Are you sure it is the pump?

...or the Eheim 1262, both pumps are great. I lean towards the Sicce 4.0 if you go the Sicce route but i like a little more flow through my sump and have the ability to use the return pump for a reactor(s).

I do have a fuge in the sump, but it's 100% the pump. I can put my hand on it and it vibrates more than a badly tuned Harley motorcycle.

Thanks for the recommendations. Going to grab a Sicce 3.0 - seems like they get glowing reviews for being quiet yet powerful pumps. I've seen a few comments about the 4.0 models not being as quiet.

From my experience quiet ones are anything but.
Eheim has always been my go to, sicce, tunze silence, and lately many seem to draw to the DC's which are controllable, all much better choices.

I've got the exact same size tanks (120 with a 40 sump). I went with an Eheim 1262. Super quiet and has a good reputation. The return pump wasn't something I wanted to skimp out on. If you get one...you won't be disappointed.

Yeah 1262 or Sicce 3.5 or 4.0 I currently have been switching out from Eheim to Sicce for everything and love them, but Eheim is a good pump.

I just put a fluval SP4 on my 120 and I love it so far. It is quiet and puts out a lot of flow. They have a smaller SP2 if you are looking for less GPH.

just a final follow up on this one. Received the Sicce 3.0 and replaced the Quiet Ones 6000... night and day difference. the Sicce is ssssssoooooooooooo quiet... great pump and from now on, all my pumps will be Sicce's
