Have a fairly new acrylic 375 that are mostly softies and LPS. Some SPS rught now. Want to start selling some of these and moving to an SPS dominant tank. Tank measures 96x30x30 with two corner overflows. I am new to the tunze's and am looking for help on what to get.

Thanks

It is kinda preference thing, there really is no perfect way to place them every time. It can depend on rockwork, supplemental flow, and coral placement. You might end up trying a few slightly different placement combos before being happy with the outcome even at times.

As for the suction cups they really are not an option for a pump this powerful. Usually most people find the optional magnets to be the way to go for ease of use. Do you know the thickness of the aquarium walls?

The magnets won't work on one side of the tank as it is flush against a wall. The tank is acrylic - would the magnets work for acrylic. It only mentions glass usage on marinedepot.

Yes the magnets will work on both glass or acrylic. There is a mounting system that can be used (roger is more familiar with the possibilities)... Does the tank have a large eurobrace? Another option might be hiding one in a stream rock.

Great...I could do a magnet on one side I believe. The tank does have a large eurobrace. I also think I can attach the mounting system to the sides. Anyone know more about this?
