I Could Stop If I Wanted
I'm planning on quarantining 3 groups of fish in a 75g and would like to use Chloroquine Phosphate over Copper for ich treatment. Are there any sources you might recommend other than ebay?

Go tot the local veterinarian and have them write you a script to take to the local pharmacy. Explain what you need it for and tell them how many gallons you are treating and have them write out the script for 50-60mg per gallon instead of the 40mg/gallon. It won't be the cheapest med you have ever bought but it will be 99.9% pure. Also see if they have a card behind the counter that will discount the medication, since if you don't have pet insurance your insurance won't cover it.
Also, be sure to specify the crystalline salt form. Many pharmacies will dispense the pill form by default.

I asked my pharmacy about the salt form and they looked at me funny so I'm not sure how easily available that is. To the eBay guy, I bought and used the stuff and it worked for me but others don't seem to be having the same luck. I have a vet prescription backup ready to go too
Weird. I was able to source mine locally with no problem at all. Pharmacist was even interested in what I was using it for.
As I understand it, I'm looking at dosing 60mg per gallon (15mg/L). Correct?
Typically, 40mg/gal gets the job done. I have ramped it up to 60mg for fish with obvious symptoms - but I'm not sure if there's any real benefit to doing so.
Any thoughts on ramping up the concentration over several days to aid with fish acclimation? I have a velvet fairy wrasse and 4 firefish goby about to get a prazi treatment then go into CP. I hear mixed concerns on wrasse's.
