Well, I stopped by at the new PetCo today and mixed reviews. Not much in the salt selection, but ok prices on the fish. Hard-good prices were awful! They had an aqua-clear 110 for $96! All the other stores in the area have it for $69. They had one PC bulb (a 50/50) for $49 and a 24" 2x65 PC fixture for $199! I got mine at Nature for $129 at most. Pet food was little more then most. They had some nice decorations for good prices. But overall - I was not impressed. Anyone else been and have other thoughts?

I also went this morning. I agree with the first message. Everything seemed to be overpriced.

My daughter did like the variety of animals....though. Especially the rabbits.

i didnt get down there today but hopfully this weekend. see with big chain stores like this you can usually get the prices online and bring them in and they will match them. so inturn it is usually cheeper than a local pet shop. but to make more money they dont advertise there online price for people who dont know this. at petsmart you can print out there online salt price and get a 5 gallon buckt of IO for some where around 36$...aka wayyyy cheeper than any fish shop round here. just need to know how to play the retail games....lol...i know retail sucks...and you dont want to work in it for long...lol...

WOOOOOOW I was wrong that place is horrible....2 yellow tanks in a 20 gallon tank with other fish...lol...a 5 gallon bucket of IO for 63$...it is insane....over heard a conversation from a customer and employee that was selling her fish, salt and a tank...."what is the perpuss of live rock"...I can see many dead fish in the future...bad place...

I went yesterday also and made a point to ask if they honored Petco online coupons/sales and they said no. They added that they would match sale prices from LFS i.e. Petsmart, etc.....They also said that they would special order with payment made upfront.....I need healthy fish for my empty tanks, where oh where can I go?
