Recovering LPS

I got a number of corals from a local reef keeper exiting the hobby. They were in rough shape but turned around... Some still shrunken against the skeleton so any advice would be welcome, guys.

This one is my favorite, a large favia.. Night and day pics

I'm experimenting right now with Brightwell's CoralAmino. Though I'm not big on 'potions', this one, supplying amino acids common in the reef ambient, seems possible to help and not likely to harm. I have some distressed lps I'm rehabbing too, and they do seem to respond by expanding and opening mouths. By the look of them, they're doing right well in your tank given their condition.

A LFS told me to use restor, and I think it helps. I think amino acids help distressed or wounded coral - like an IV. But healthy coral should be fine with normal feeding.

Target feeding (recommended) is not practical with my tank, but broadcast of CoralAmino is doing ok, I think. I turn off the skimmer in the morning, just prior to dosing, then resuming skimming in the late afternoon and night. So far I'm encouraged.
