Good Morning RC,
I just got back from a government funded cruise and got a good look at my tank. My wife was great in that all of my fish are still alive, most of my coral is alive, and most has grown a good deal. That being said, there were some issues I am now trying to resolve.
Being the chemistry major she's not, she was bright enough not to add anything but RODI water, making up for losses. I've not been back long enough to test but some things I know are going to be a bit off. My thoughts with everything I have to fix is to take time and correct it over the course of a month or so. The other problem is she unplugged the heater. The temp has been ~75f for the last week or so. Should I plug it in and bring it up using the heater or put it on a timer and gradually increase back to where it was?
I appreciate all of the advice. I forgot to give her my login for RC, but she did well enough on her own. Lessons learned for next time.
