So is this low Ph in a bottle I say that because we had a interesting problem a while back. Our Ph probe went bad but not all at once. It slowly went south and in doing so the Ph dropped. the monitor said it was at 8.2 but when we got around to testing it was actually 7.7 or there abouts. It had been steadily dropping for about 2 weeks as far as we could tell. We lost 2 fish and a couple of corals but we were able to catch it and raise the Ph and avoid any other problems. One thing we did notice is that our red bugs were gone. We had been hesitant to use intereceptor becuase of all it would kill in the process but the low Ph seemed to take care of the red bugs. I think in the long run we probably lost less with the low Ph problem than we would have using interceptor. I think a big key was the Ph lowering very slowly over a few weeks. anyway- just thought I'd post that for what it's worth- not recommending it but thought it was interesting.
