I've read all threads and can't get a solid confirmation whether the Sentinel with lufenuron is acceptable and safe for fish and coral. I know it will affect shrimp, crabs etc.

Also should I wash off the beef flavored coating and then crush and dissolve in RO?

I'm following along. I'm interested in this as well. Also, hopefully you don't mind me getting in on your thread but the other questions I have are:
Does any residual chemicals left after treatment effect your ability to re-establish your pod population?
How long after treatment should you wait before returning any shrimp and crabs to your tank?

I've read the chemical usually takes a couple of weeks to be removed through skimming, water changes, carbon, etc.

So I was planning on waiting a month after treatment and at least 4 wc's before returning shrimp and pods.

Yeah I guess after treatment I would just buy a pod culture to reseed the tank.

It is fine. The 51-100 pound dog pills will act just like interceptor - both are 23mg of mbe per pill. They are equivalent to everything that you read about the old interceptor.
