One other option if you can't get Interceptor is to get MilbeMite. The active ingredient is the same, however MilbeMite is used to treat ear mites in cats. It is provided in liquid ampoules in much smaller doses. Ideal for treating a small tank or qt setup. However, the cost will be prohibitive if treating large systems.
Ivermectin also has potential, however, I believe it's only used on large animals (equine and bovine) and will be much harder to get than Interceptor.
