I have red bugs in my sps dominant 180, this sucks because it is stunting growth of some corals! 90% of corals are encrusted on liverock so dipping isnt a good option! Anybody have any ideas or resources please give me a PM!!!

I just used the spectrum. I used half a pill for my 180. Large breed pills. Worked amazing and my coral banded lived.

Red bugs are easy to treat with the proper meds...nothing to worry too much about IMO...

Undo the airline to the skimmer so only water runs through it, and take carbon out till treatmeny is done!

Spectrum has praziquantal as well as M.oxime...

Don't know how the praziquantal may effect your corals..

You will know it worked becuase polyp extension should be noticable better a day or two after treatement, and you wont see anymore red bugs on coral, I leave skimmer and carbon off for roughly 12 hours! Wait a week a do it again 3 treatments is whats recommended!
