red button fell off (7091)

hello roger, i just bought another 6100 w/ 7091 controller
i noticed that the feed button is loose inside the controller
(empty hole) can i dismantle the controller to put the button back or is this a factory only repair.
i can send it back to the vender but if i could fix it myself
it would limit my down time.

It isn't very complicated. It is just a momentary switch and pretty easy to fix. You can open it, you have to pry off the knobs with a slotted screwdriver carefully.

thanks roger i wasn't quite sure on how to take off the knobs,
i didn't want to butcher it up.
