Red Dragon Acro

Just curious if anyone has or has seen anything like this piece? Just recently ordered a frag from coral in the reef. Definately excited for this red smooth skinned acro. I've read that it's been labeled an Acropora halmaherae. Here's three different pics in three different tanks, all Red Dragon, all sick.

i should be getting mine soon. it is a must have. not that many red acros out there. Besides I have always wanted a pet dragon=)

Look like Reef Raft's Unknown. Very nice but the price is a little high IMO.

That is ridiculous price for sure. What is the record of this coral in captivity. If its a recent wild acquisition who is to say it will survive very well for aquarists. That's a high price for a coral with no history.

Yeah, I was thinking of selling my "run-of-the-mill" pink mille and calling it Pink Panther, then sell frags for $250...

That's all this is... marketing to the masses and setting your price. As long as you have people that are willing to pay, you're golden. I'll bet it'll be down to $100 or less for a frag in one or two years. Although, having said all of that, if I could get a frag of the second picture, I would definitely put down around $100, but NOT $250...

Oh, and just to be clear, I'm in no way putting down the people that are willing to pay $250 for this coral, I'm just saying that I'm not one of those people... Hope it's a good grower for those of you that do pick it up, so that you can recoup your money!
