Red Fin Waspfish Help

I currently purchased a Red-Fin Waspfish, it arrived tuesday and hid in my tank... it came out wednsday and it ate a little mysis shrimp... it didnt eat thursday or today... i understand it is in the family of the scorpian fish and therefore doesnt need to eat everyday. Does any one have any experience with these fish and has any advice.

I have one, seahorsedreams and namxas have a pair. They are hardy, and typical scorps. What do you want to know? Did you get yours from LA DD?

Yea i got mine off of divers den... my question is if this is normal behavior ffor this fish (to not eat everyday)

Give it some time to acclimate. It's not unusual for new fish to go on a bit of a hunger strike. Try offering some enriched (e.g. soaked in Selcon or vitamins) live brine shrimp to see if you can get it interested in eating again.

It doesn't have to eat every day, like seahorses, but these fish usually have good appetites.

it's only about 2 inches long... Is this too small to feed it smaller feeder shrimp?
