Had the lights just came on for that pic? Doesn’t look as good as it has been in other pics.

I think that was right after water change. it looks about the same fully open.

I put the Gig in the display tank just now.

Placed a ton of rocks on the corner for it to climb. It's at halfway point.

There is a Sea Swirl on top for flow. Beside that, I have a huge Panta Rhei pump on the other end of the tank. I think I need to pick up either a MP60 or another Panta Rhei pump for this gig. The other green gig loves the combo flow of SS + Panta Rhei. I think I'll only use the SS for a day. Allow it to move around safely.

fingers crossed

day 2 in DT. I turned the return pump to max so the Sea Swirl can give it more flow. Looks good, it's whole body moves with the flow.

Not many pumps that stick to 1" thick glass.

-Gyre 280, I don't think the anemones like it
-MP60, dangerous to the carpet, but loves the random flow. I'll most likely get this
-Panta Rhei 63, matches my other unit and create good flow. but cost 2k+

Looking good. Once those tentacles start to lengthen you'll be in the clear. After a few more days I'd try giving it a very small meal. If it accepts food you'll know it's nice and healthy. Really curious to see what this one ends up looking like color wise and how long the tentacles get after 6 months or so.

I’m curious to see if the color towards the center of the disc ends up more yellow/orange with the outer rim pink. Really glad that it’s looking like this one is going to make it. Hopefully wherever this one was collected is loaded with more.

Any update? Lack of updates is usually a bad sign with these kind of threads. I hope it’s still looking good.

Im on a Denver trip right now. but last few days the carpet has been moving. seems to be going to lower lights and hiding more in the rocks. ill try snap photos when i get back.

That is usually a sign of stress from bleaching during treatment.

I have start to test doing whole tank dosing of anti biotics

The fact that it's still alive is a good sign. It definitely looked a bit bleached in the last photo, so I imagine it'll be a while while it rebuilds its health before it can handle full light intensity. As long as it doesn't hide itself away in the shadows where it wastes away from light deficiency I imagine it will recover over time. More pics! [emoji16]

Treat a whole tank with cipro? I don't know if that's the most recommended strategy. You may as well just bake the tank and start over with fresh rock and water if you want to sterilize a tank. It would take a good deal of cipro and who knows what that would do to the microbial balance of the tank.
