Those reds are Haddoin
looks like he mislabeled a couple of them in that post. beautiful nems though. def a haddoin.
It's almost hard to believe he miss ID'ed those
What gives it away as 100% positive ID for Haddoni's?
100% haddoni without doubt. I've been a nem enthusiast for long enough that in most circumstances, I can tell a haddoni from gig right off the bat. But to be specific, this is what gives it away for me: short blunt tentacles, flattened (not folded) oral disk, more neatly arranged tentacles, and that reddish rim around the mouth is something I have only seen in haddoni.
One more thought: also note the more closely packed tentacles and deeper coloration towards the edge of the oral disk - haddoni giveaway.
In any case, I wish someone from RC could get their hands on a red gigantea to try and make an analysis on why they've reportedly died within the first 6 months and how they are different.

There is one - in Greenwich Aquaria - a LFS in Greenwich, CT. There are a few threads on here about it and I have seen it in person. Appears to be some debate, but I think it is a gig (or at least a hybrid).
