Based on your pictures, I think it is a purple gig.
I've had one before, when it was not healthy, and under 400w radium, it had the same color like yours.
The photo Minh posted is pretty accurate to the book on my monitors (laptop and iPhone)
My personal opinion is that, although this anemone is not red like a red haddoni, it isn't the same color as your more commonly seen purple gigantea. The contrast between the color of the clown coloration ( which also appears accurate) is distinct. I believe this to be a very exceptionally colored specimen of gigantea and is why it was chosen for the book. Scott Michael has extensive dive hours logged photographing marine life and my gut tells me this specimen(s) stood out to him.
