Red Haddoni on Live Aquaria

Ya, I noticed it in the last pic, it just didn't seem as severe to me. The bald spots look pretty bad in the new pic. I think they're gonna have to come down on that price, if they want to sell that anemone. JMHO though.

Do you think the "bald" spots are caused by a butterfly eating the tentacles off? Or more of lighting matter?

No. That's not lighting. That's missing tentacles. The tentacles on haddoni are in very uniform rows. When they expand the space between their tentacles, to allow more light in, the rows become more obvious. The anemone on the DD has large blotches of missing tentacles. Not rows of what appears to be missing tentacles. This is very typical of a butterfly fish attack.

This is what the gaps in haddoni tentacles look like in low light. Notice that they're in rows. Not large blotches.
