I got a ATL Red Hyacinthus from a local reefer, and in his tank, it was HUGE!!!! (covered a 12x 18" area and was constantly pruned and was at the surface of the water under a 250W XM 20K bulb....)

In my tank, it is a little lower, and under a 4" wide glass brace, but under 400W XM 20K bulb.

in my tank, it is fuzzy happy and growing.
it has white tips but the center isnt red like his. its green.
is this ok/normal, or is there a discrepancy in the water quality??

here are some pictures and a top down video.

any suggestions are welcome! thanks

Mine is getting 400+ PAR and heavy flow. No green. All red with blue tips.

What bulb and wattage are you running?
Its time for new bulbs here, and I was looking at different possibilities
