Red Lip Blenny questions

I bought what was labeled a Red Lip Blenny. What is this guy's main diet? He eats frozen some, but I also see him nipping at algae on the glass and overflows.

Reason: he is the last fish in a 220 gallon that has to come out to be treated and for the tank to go fallow. Over the past week, he wont go near 2 different style fish traps. Ive tried nets, partitioning the tank, etc, etc. Everything I can think of.

I'm assuming I cant starve him because he'll just eat algae (or can I)?

Horseface Blenny (Ophioblennius atlanticus) for clarification, if it matters.

Looks like LiveAquaria is calling it an herbivore only, so I guess I will have to keep fighting to get him out.
