Red Macro Algae

I got red macro algae growing on a piece of live rock now. I believe it is Halymenia sp. There are 2 pieces growing on 1 piece of live rock. ! piece is about 3 inches long the other about 1 inch long. I can't get a good picture because my camera sucks. I need a new camera! LOL

Hey Fred are yes sure its alge and not GRASS. LOL. how about loking up a pic online and showing it to us. I have always like the different types of algae. Some of that stuff looks pretty cool. Talk to ya later Fred.

I bought 7 giant mexican turbo snails tuesday night, wednesday night both pieces of my beautiful red macro algae were gone. both pieces must have been chopped off at the base and were up against one of my koralia 4s. so I took them off and threw them in my fuge I doubt if they will reattach to anything but I hope so I did notice what looked to be a piece of the same in the middle of my sawblade.

I got this picture off of the algae page and they looked just like this just a little darker red.
