Its red dictyota and will take over your tank. I finally got rid of mine after only three weeks of Algaefix.

How good is it at Killing Regular Hair Algae?

Has anybody noticed any Negative Affects from this Product?

What is in it?

Peroxide?

I have mostly Zoanthids so I am concerned mostly with my Zoanthids.

I would rather not use Chemicals.

If I buy Snails will they eat it?

I found that snails were useless. It took over my tank rapidly. You may one to pull out one rock in separate area at least to test what you are treating to see if it works on it first (if you can). For my nano tank, buying a fish that would eat it but outgrow the tank was not an option. SH
