red planet aggression

I am wondering if anyone has issues with ora red planet being very aggressive?
I have been having gha issues and having to clean my rocks and corals with a turkey baster and tooth brush. After doing this last night and in the past all my lps and sps will retract badly and the sps will even loose color. It usually is several days till things start to return to normal. I am doing nothing other then cleaning the algae. I remember someone telling me they had gotten rid of their red planet due to aggression. I am now wondering if my cleaning and blasting of the red planet is causing it to release a major chemical war? I cant come up with any other explanation. Anyone have any thoughts.

no more than any other sps coral would.

It will sting on contact but I don't think acros engage in that much allellopathy

As was stated, only aggressive with contact. My RP is beating back some Zoa's and mushrooms and is winning the war.

Thanks, it didn't start out as an experiment but the Zoa's encroached rapidly.

Yes, it can be. I had a frag nuke a Montipora and they were definitely not touching (~1/4" apart). I have a Green Milli that is even more aggressive at an even greater distance. Both Acros' warfare only effects my Millis while my nearby Zoanthids are unaffected.

Cool shot up there with the RP and zoas. I've got them approaching my RP as well and was wondering who would win.
