Red Planet problems...

Hey, my first post.

I had a red planet get knocked off it's perch(it was new) by a snail and into another SPS. Three of it's seven branches are now white or bleached, however you describe the situation. My question is, should I cut off the dead pieces? This has happened before and the problem seems to get worse.

I am no means an expert but when a couple of my frags have burned each other I've left it alone and they've healed over the damage. Highly recommend glue/epoxy it down do it doesn't happen again. Or put out a hit on that snail.

You don't have to cut the dead pieces off, just give it a lot of time and hopefully it'll get better.

give it time it will heal it self and secure the frag. happened to me on the same frag and each time it healed it self.

I agree...just let it be and it will grow over the damaged areas.
