Have you tried rod's coral food, I will guarantee you will see increased growth. Red planets are good eaters. And one of the fastest growing in my tank.

Mine in my 90g was a slow grower for about 6 months and then took off like a WEED! It was branching and encrusting like crazy for over a year. Went from a small "Branch" to a colony the size of a large grapefruit in about 18 months. Unfortunately lost it in a tank move but have another one now that's encrusting more than it's branching.

Your coloration looks GREAT!!

My red planet isn't doing well either. SLowest growth out of all my sps, losing color. Probably a bad spot. Going to add another powerhead just to see if it perks up with the increased flow

i am struggling with one as well. Stable water parameters, medium light, medium flow.

When i moved it to m display tank i put it a bit high int he tank and belached it. It is slowly revocering and what was white is now pink, the rest is a dark red with very little green. Very good polyp extension but no growth.

Right now i am leaving it alone for fear of moving it again and Pi$$ing it off once more.

Suggestions?

I've had mine since January and it encrusted like crazy first and then now it's starting to shoot up sloooooowwwwlllyyyy.. It's a slow grower for me with stable parameters and very good flow ..Idk .

I have another frag of it and I placed it lower than the other (with good flow)and this one also Is a slow grower but since it has lower light it's green is more visible .

Maybe it's bc we look at it everyday we find it really slow lol

It's not a feeding issue. I have grown a large colony quickly from a small frag. Very fast grower. Never fed it directly.
