Red/Purple Clove polyp ID

So i have these red/purple clove poly looking things tanking over my tank. They look similar to the blue clove polyps, but their color is definitely red/purple. Growth structure is stringy and boxed on the left. They grow over everything (glass, sand, rock, etc) and i want to eliminate them. Has anyone dealt with them before? Is their 'cure' similar to the fluke tab treatment with blue clove polyps?

thanks ahead of time.

they are way worse than the blue cloves. A lot more aggressive towards other corals and in spreading. They suck. And when they make big matt areas they look brown in large groups - almost like nasty algae Saw a redding tank come down due to them - in fact I just threw a rock out in the garage last night that had them all over it. Used to be covered with blue cloves but these guys even wipped most of those out
