reduce/remove/lower phosphates, nitrates, DOC's etc.

the first thing I'd do is siphon that cyano directly out of your aquarium and then proceed to storm the sandbed while running a micron filter sock on your drains (to catch/remove detritus from the system).

Exactomundo!!! What's up with that clams mantle hanging out onto substrate...never seen that before.

get a bunch of scarlet hermits...theyre expensive but they do a great job
