red slime on chaeto...

some of my chaeto has some red cyano[?] on it...it doesn't seem to be getting any better. can i pull it out and clean it out with fresh ro water? should i mix some salt water and use that to clean it? help please!!

I would just remove the cyano covered algae and increase the flow in your refugium.
