Red slime.....

If you've tried everything else just use the dang thing. I hate using drugs in my tank but I finally gave in when my red slime would not go away and it worked awesome. All the slime died off in 1-2 days and the sandbed was pristine. Is been a month now with no signs of the dreaded slime.

I usually take a more holistic approach to these type of problems. There are many factors that can contribute to this problem. Although one may be the overriding factor, you should address each one of them to insure that you have solved this problem. The use of "red slime removers" will work, but if you don't resolve whatever caused it in the first place, it will simply keep reoccurring.
