Red Spotted Dottyback Behavior

Has anyone kept a red spotted dottyback (Pholidochromis cerasina) and would like to share about it's behavior?
I have had one for about 6 weeks and expected it to be rather aggressive, but this has shown to be quite the contrary. The fish is very docile and darts among the tunnels within my live rock, rarely coming out into open water and has close to no interaction with the other fish in the tank, with the exception of my royal gramma because they both appreciate "hidey holes." It is very different from the purple, splendid, and is even more bold than a green wolf eelblenny that I used to keep (very sad when it died as i taught it to swim in my hand and rest).

Is such docile and timid behavior usual in this species?

I have had the same experience with mine. It comes out to feed, otherwise he stays within the rock work and you really have to look for him. I've had him about 6 months as well.
