Red Urchin Hitch Hiker

Hey all,
I have a urchin hitch hiker in my take that I'm starting to worry about. It looks very similar to a pencil urchin with the long thick spines but is a bright red color. Do pencil urchins come in different colors? Or does anyone have another id guess for it. I'll try and get a decent pic tonight.

I have seen many different color urchins while diving. It kinda sounds like a rock urchin. Pic would help.
