Reef angel controller.

Wow sounds like your getting a bunch of options for the money. I was going to add to my RKL but I may just purchase this. I have the RKL but it only can with one power bar. I was planning on purchasing two more power bars but for only a few more $ I can get this. Is there any issues if I run both?

I use the RA controller. It is pretty awesome. Like others have said it is not as user friendly as the others but is great for people who are willing to go that extra mile. ORP and extra PH inputs are coming out before too long.

The android app is great! I use it almost exclusively to operate the controller.

Customer service is excellent and the community is very supportive.

Also, I have something all those RA haters don't have. I have hinted at it in the past but not sure if I should be advertising the feature just yet ;) but... it is even more amazing than the time you ate your weight in Godfather's pizza.

Don't leave all us RA users hanging like that!

:headwally:

yeah that could be the determining factor if i buy or not ;)

Actually i'm putting my RKL up for sale today. I'm starting a new tank with custom stand so need to incorporate all this into it.

I second all the positive information posted here. I have had the RA controller for about three weeks and am very pleased. I am AT BEST at very junior programmer (more a read the others guy's stuff and paste) and have been so far able to do anything I wanted.

It is possible to get frustrated with a particular situation so be willing to dig and study and RTFM (anybody know what means?) and then post your questions and give the folks a few minutes to answer you...they always do. Thx to all

I'm not to sure but I made a post on the RA forum for you. Will let you know what he says.

I have 3 Neptune Systems heavy duty expansion boxes that I use for lighting and other high current draw. The RA 8 plug box is on its 2nd revision and I think a 3rd revision is in the works.

I am willing to bet the answer is no simply because the cost for the 4 port would be about $16 less then the 8 port. For 20 bucks might as well have 4 unused sockets that could be used for something down the road.

I love my RA. I just purchased another one to replace my Rke.

Side note. What is wrong with the way I'm listing my web banner in my sig? Thanks.

Yeah $16 isn't much money at all, the difference is about twice that between the EB4 and EB8 for Neptune. Definitely an interesting controller the more I read into it....

I would imagine the variance in cost is based on the number of units made. Since RA is smaller production I think a big part of the cost is the casing and communication device.

So far RA has been awesome. I love mine! Excellent customer support as well.
