Reef Aquarium 1350 gallons in Bucharest

This has probably already been answered but I did not read everything so please foregive me. How do you plan on cureing your rock? With all the cement in there I would think it will need to cure with fresh water in it for a month or two. I must say it is already one of the nicest tanks I've seen. Can't wait to see it full of corals.

Thank you Bill!

You are right I will leave everything to cure for a month or two, actually depends on the tests.

Bad news...
I got back from airport few hours ago. I didn't have a visa for Thailand. The treaty between Romania and Thailand for no visa for 15 days starts on the 20th of November. I didn't know I need a visa neither the travel agent. I had to postpone my visit to Chingchai with a few days until I don't need a visa. :furious: and :sad2:

Nice rooftop space and an awesome tank, excellent work on your rockwork, truly will be a nice zen garden after its done. Three letters that describes this tank,W O W !

I just found this thread and this whole build from the apartment to the rooftop and especially the tank is amazing. I am just starting my first saltwater tank, so seeing a build like this gives me a dream to look forward too, on a smaller scale of course.

I will be sure to follow this build and thank you for sharing such an accomplishment with everyone.

Thank you for reminding me about the sketches. I completly forgot about them.
Probably everything was in my head.

Thanks!

Andy

Truly amazing work, and knowing you oversaw all of it yourself is priceless. Leaving a few spots bare on the back wall and rounding the hard edges really brings it to life. The islands are well proportioned and realistic. The next step is to let corals shape it.

Canada will always take you.

Sara thank you so much for compliments!

I'm sorry too we didn't had the chance to meet at MACNA. At least I saw you one morning with your friend without knowing who you were. Peter told me later that day. But who knows maybe we meet next year?

There is no competition Sara. We all do what we can at the time with what each of us have learned. I would be happy with a nano too if that's what I afford at the time. As I mention at the beggining of the thread now four years ago I didn't even know what a marine aquarium looks like and now I allready know the latin names of most marine species. I also tried to keep all kinds of marine animals:

See Sara, you never know how big your tank will be or what it will host....

Andy

Your tank is amazing!

I can not wait to see it full! I am building with a lot of fun.

As against that hurt me heart to see this shark in a goldfish bowl. He turns in circles!!

Sorry I translated with Google.

Thanks for stopping by.
May I ask where are you from?

About the shark, he grows fast, but will be moved to a much larger tank because you are right, this tank became too small for him.
