reef chili?

Have you tried to do some research on Reef Central about it? I would advise you to do so before creating so many threads about things. Sooner of later, no one is going to post because all of these threads posted by one person gets annoying. Just some advice. :)

"I would recommend getting a product like reef chili (Really is an all around product and reasonably priced), use it twice a week for a couple months. Check your level and once your comfortable with it not polluting you water feed more. See how the corals respond, I think thats the only way you will know."

"I just had my friends bring me reef chili. (Reviews were great and can't be bought in Japan) and the corals really seem to open up to it. Just curious about one thing. Do you supplement this with anything else or do you feed all your corals just this?"

I know i couldnt personally search RC because i dont have a sub and it seems that if you arent a premuim member the search engine never works. He could have probably made a thread in another subforum but he made his post here most likely because hes values the opinion of the locals. Ive met ciro in person to sell him some stuff and hes a really nice guy.

Anyways the first part of your post has a great message it just doesnt sound very nice.

The best thing about the search is that you expand your horizons and get different points of view from members all over, we have great knowledge at our club but it is healthy to see other sources.

Eric,

As you probably meant you’re replay to be taken as constructive criticism, it does not come across to me in that form. What keeps this forum alive and active are the post from the members. Would you rather open up the forum and just see posts on when the next meeting will be ? Could he have researched the question he posted about reef chili elsewhere, sure he could have. As could you with any questions you have posted in the past , or will post in the future. If he values our opinion enough to post a question here, then great I will be happy to post my ideas and take pride that I have hopefully helped out another hobbyist. I don’t know how many others might feel as I do but you need to chill and stop ridding Ciro so hard. … It’s not easy being new in this hobby and I sure you wouldn’t have appreciated someone treating you the way you are treating Ciro…

Chill , have a beer ,,,, and realx ;)

;)

Research is key. Works almost everytime and when it does hit the refresh button and it will.

To give a man a fish will keep him alive, but to teach him how to fish will set him for life. I don't try to come off as being mean, I'm just trying to show people the way. A lot of people tell me I am blunt, which yeah I am. So I don't mean to be rude or a jackass as how I put it.

you know wut, it has happend to me but no afence eric i just ignor you sometimes. the only way i do listen to you is when you answer my question so... Sorry:rolleye1: If that is a dis to you i am also sorry. but i have learnd to do that to many ppl.

the reason why i dont search is cause i do like to here from my locals and every time that i ask a question and they tell me what to do it is always right. i have never had a bad experiance wit this forum that is basicaly why i am always on it all day and night and not ask to many questions at the lfs. cause if you ask question after question after question in the span of 5 mins then it does get realy anoing to some ppl. so i hold my questions till i get home and ask you guys and thank you for always answering me guys. and i am very sorry if i bother you eric. BUT i am a N00B.

And thank you for the chili answer. So i guess it is good for my corals. i thought this stuff was some bull. so i decided to ask.

I don't care when people post a question, because I do it all the time.

He is just saying if you search you can probably find out more information. There are a lot more people on this forum that know things then just the 'locals'.

I have wondered this aswell. I know there are a lot of threads on it...ive searched them myself! But I still always post here in the FMAS Forum b/c I know a lot of the people here and trust them more then people I dont know! Its ok say there are a lot of forums out there about it...but he is asking US! not them!! :D

Ok I'm sorry.

Here is what I feel about feeding corals. Cyclopeez is more talked about when it comes to feeding corals as well as fish. In fact, a lot of the people I talk to say Cyclopeez is pretty good. I've always wanted to try the Reef Chili but never got around it, I like to feed my fish and corals frozen stuff... seems more "Fresh." Most corals will get what they need through the water colum as well as lighting. So be more concerned about waterchanges and changing bulbs or buying the correct lighting and then from there you can decided if you should be feeding corals. All of my corals look the same, but then again I don't feed cyclopeez everyday.

Just remember it takes time for corals and fish to grow, they do not happen overnight. You have to have patience.

Hey ill have to say alot of times esp during the day i cant use the search function on here. becuase its too busy, sometimes i have to just post my questions although i do look around the first few pages of the forums too. I also have to agree about active posting in this forum to keep it alive, in fact ive seen some people just post silly stuff late at night drunk and its funny and promotes a sense of community. Alright i am new to this club and all ive only been to one meeting so far (comming tomarrow tho). But since yall only meet once a month and i dont have a car this is by far the best way for me to contribute to and participate in FMAS.
Best regards
Ryan

Ooops... that was me... the drunk. lol

Try using this if you are not a premium member. Most of the time it will work, but the search feature on RC is basically just for premium members unless you are doing research after hours, like 1am

I see that for the super minimum price to become a premium member its well worth it. I don't look at the cost at all just for the search feature its worth $100's.

Come on its $24 a year I dont understand. If it saves you from just one mistake or where to buy something cheaper, make your exp here more enjoyable just kick it in.

We all waste alot more than on bad choices in this this hobby.

Just do it and enjoy!!
