Towards the end of the last meeting Chris mentioned helping me sell some old/new products that have accumulated in my garage. I thought this would be a great way for the club to raise some money. Some of the stuff may need a little cleaning but most of it has some value. Some of it is brand new.

Some of the work involved would be to clean, price, photograph, and post on Ebay or Craigs list. It's an easy way for the club to make hundreds of dollars. I will donate half of the money to the club.

The officers of the club do a lot of work already so I would like to see some more volunteers. Sign up here and help out the club.

Yeah Thanks Jody!!!

This is a great idea to recruit more people. I'm in but I'm busy with an online class this saturday so let me know when a time works for others (incl Jody of course) to go and start the process.

Thanks for the offer Jody!
i cant do anything until this semester is over but if anythings left afterwards im game. i love the smell of vinegar. :P

i work 12 hr days monday-Thursday & 14 on friday
my sat-sundays are spent with my son for the most part and not a short drive for me... so im kinda stuck right now
i do get the 22nd off for indian killer day :) if you guys come up with a day in the week and let me know a week a head of time i can take it off to help out....

hell i might even want to buy some of the gear... lol

I think I bought one of these items :D haha But I am more than willing to help out still when/if I'm needed. I have a limited schedule during the week but there's always time to do stuff.

I am in kind of a bind, I come there from Redding so it's a bit of a drive for me. I might be able to come down for a day on a weekend and help out though I will look at my schedule and see when I am free.
Can you give us a rough idea as to what is there? In case any of us are interested in buying the items?

With the holiday next week, I'll be out Thurs-Sun. So I'm thinking sometime maybe next week if Dan, Melissa and I could meet at Jody's to inventory and get an idea of what we're looking at. I'm sure there are some people who would want first pick but know we're still going to sell these items for at least a decent bargain so the club can make some money nonetheless. After seeing the support we provided for Joel's partial breakdown, I'm not too worried about that.

Then as needed we can figure out a schedule to get the items cleaned, out for photos, and work on getting them posted on probably Craig's List or EBay or maybe even the Chico Reef Club site.

There's a bit of a logistic situation with us selling items that are in Jody's garage.... so as people want to come view/buy them... we too would have to be there to sell them. Sounds like a wrinkle we need to work out.

Also with the wonderful economy I've now got time off (without pay) for the days in between Christmas and new years
