Reef Crystals Calcium content?

I know its a little late to respond. But I did a WC and my calcium levels are at 360-380. It could be my test... Im not sure. I have ordered from you guys at least ten times and I have had only one problem which wasnt even your fault. If you would like to replace it awsome, if not I will not be angry 1 bit. I love you guys and I dont mind what you do. just contact back

I use that kit myself. They are made for IO by Hach and are a pretty accurate kit. I have found that it is easiest to see the definitve color change by using a white piece of paper to set the vial on and I do the test in the kitchen under bright room light, rather than the light from my tank, which leans towards blue and makes it harder to read the results.

We have been working closely with Instant Ocean regarding this concern and have started to receive your salt samples. Thank you very much for taking the time to send these in. Below is a statement that Instant Ocean asked us to post on their behalf:

As part of our commitment to continuous quality improvement, we regularly review and revise those procedures to deliver the best product on the market. In addition we use outside laboratories to verify our raw materials and final products to ensure adherence to our standards. As always, we stand behind our product and will test any samples that we receive from consumers that believe that their Reef Crystals are not meeting our claims, and replace any product that is found to be below our standards. Our commitment is to the satisfaction of our customers. We appreciate the continued support of our consumers and are available to discuss any concerns at (1-800-822-1100)."
