Reef Crystals Calcium content?

Thank you Drs. Foster and Smith for taking the lead in this matter making it right for me. I really apreciated it and will deffinitely continue as a Drs. Foster and Smith customer.

On 11/07 I recieved a 160g mix of RC. I mixed 35g of sw the past 3 nights with Ca @ 400 to 420 per 5g bucket. I bought another 160g mix on 12/07. Im going to mix 5g to see what I get out of that one.

I know its a little late to respond. But I did a WC and my calcium levels are at 360-380. It could be my test... Im not sure. I have ordered from you guys at least ten times and I have had only one problem which wasnt even your fault. If you would like to replace it awsome, if not I will not be angry 1 bit. I love you guys and I dont mind what you do. just contact back

Is your tank water measuring 360-380 after your water change, or is the new water you made testing this before you add it to your tank?

Its the water thats going into the tank thats 360-380. But I dont really like the test I have becuase I cant tell if its blue or light blue. Its an instant ocean test.

I use that kit myself. They are made for IO by Hach and are a pretty accurate kit. I have found that it is easiest to see the definitve color change by using a white piece of paper to set the vial on and I do the test in the kitchen under bright room light, rather than the light from my tank, which leans towards blue and makes it harder to read the results.
