Reef HD Flucanozole bad for any specific corals? BOUNCE for example

Will work for fish
Hey guys I once used REEF HD and it made my bounce shrink down, it didn't look happy but it's recovering.

I wonder if anybody else had this experience.

I have bryopsis (I don't think it's hairy green algae because it's not long it's more hard and just stays close the rocks) and want to use REEF HD but afraid I'd have the same experience--but wondering if it was just a one time thing...

Thanks!

So I have og, Sunkist, interstellar, and a bunch of other misc shrooms. Been dosing fluconazole for about a month now. Still have bryopsis. I keep dosing and it slowly dies. All corals clams and inverts are in good health. I almost feel it made my corals look better.

Thanks Oshanickreef I can totally see stuff getting better as the algae disappears!! Good to hear of your experience! I am proceeding w/ caution as I def do not want to lose my bounces. Can anybody else reinforce complete reef safeness? THANKS ALL :)

What you describe is not Bryopsis. Bryopsis is long and filamentous, like hair algae, but with a very distinct branching pattern (fan like). If it is stiff then my guess, without pics, would be some type of calcareous algae. If so, should be a slower grower too and I wouldn't worry about it.

Hope this pic helps!!!

Does it look like this. What I have is turf algae and it's a harder to get rid of unlike GHA or Bryopsis. Last time I tried Flucanozole it started to fade and recede towards the end of the treatment but didn't get rid of it and it came back.
I'm starting another treatment this weekend after the WC but this time I'm doing back to back treatments.
