Or from the other direction its kind of like buy a PC4, get an RKL for free!

temp probe is std on level 1 package. to do ph, you need the probe & the SL1 module....module comes in level 2 pkg but not the probe. level 3 adds another pc4 & the ph probe

salinity isn't supported quite yet but should be in the next few months by adding the SL2 module

SL1 - addl temp, ph & orp monitoring
SL2 - addl temp, ph & salinity monitoring

Yes, the RKL will support Salinity. Salinity is only supported by the SL2 module, so purchasing the 99 buck version, the an SL2 (releases suppsoedly end of Q@@ but I think it will slip into early Q3) a PH probe and a Salinity probe.

No need for an SL1.

I was just about to suggest the same. This is what I'm planning on doing for my little bro.

So for $179 you can have a nice little controller that will do temp, pH, salinity, and two switch inputs (ATO or otherwise) sans probes. For probes, add another $120 or so. Not too bad at all!

well that's kinda what i meant....not supported cause the module isn't avail yet

i listed the sl1 & sl2 to show the difference in the 2 modules as far as what they adapt...not that they are both required
