Reef keepers in Metro Detroit

Hello Reef Keepers,

I'm in the process of purchasing the equipment to finally start my system and I would like to know if there is any monthly meetings or gtg that the reef keepers do around Metro-Detroit area. I have been reading lots online and checking several different stores but nothing is better than knowing a few of guys in person, if that would be possible, of course.
