I have been gearing up for an H&S skimmer for 2 months and have decided to take a look at this skimmer, can anyone campare these??? Or are these skimmer any good compared to a Euroreef, Deltec, ETSS, Or H&S??

I have never used it but, based on other reviews in this forum, I'm sure it works pretty well....

One thing I might mention though is that I've noticed, when a good cheap skimmer comes out, everyone here seems to rave about it for a year or two... then tends talk trash about it later.

I bought an AquaC remora about three years ago for my 29g tank because I remember reading that the AquaCs were some of the best skimmers out there.... now everyone says a different strory.

Then, about a year ago, everyone was raving about the Coral Life Super Skimmers.... now they say it's a total piece of junk.

In my conclusion I'll say that I've used AquaC , Coral Life, ASM , Deltec, Seaclone, and CPR skimmers.... all my skimmers I've bought based on the experience of others.

In many respects all those skimmers work well for what they are... bu you usually get what you pay for. Deltec is , hands down, the best of the bunch that I've used.

So, I'm sure the Octo works great for what it is... but you may want to consider a higher end skimmer (like one you mentioned in your post) that has a longer reputation behind it just to put your mind at ease... It sucks to have to buy a better skimmer to replace one you've already have to drop $200 on... been there, done that.

I got the DNW 110 and I love it. Only took 1 hr before it started making nasty stuff. About 2 days to really start really producing. It is really built like a tank. I cant say anything about the others but it took me like a month of thinking before I decided on this one.

I think if you are comparing same or similiar size skimmers (say a 6 inch diameter 24 inch unit) between an octopus, aqueuro to a deltec, or H&S the aquaeuro/octo are going to get spanked. The real issue is you can buy an octopus/aquaeuro that is a 10 inch diam/36" tall unit for the same price as the six inch/24" tall deltec/H&S and at that point the deltec/H&S are going to get spanked (especially considering you are getting multiple pumps and possibley recirc at those prices on aquaeuro and octo). Check out the aquaeuro classic 400 or recirc 265 and then find a comparible deltec/H&S unit and see the price difference. There is no doubt that deltec/H&S/Tunze/etc. make great skimmers, but they are costly.
