Reef Raft NorCal

I also noticed their CAD Lights setups were selling for online prices too. That, in itself, I think is a wonderful thing.

I think they (the owner) makes stands too..simple steel square tubing and coated. Strong, and more affordable than the other stands if that's what you're after.

Lot's to choose from at Reef Raft, wet or dry. :)

Yeah, the owner does fabricate stands and other stuff. He was telling me that he built all of the stands in the shop and the necks holding up the Kessil lights. Pretty clean setup and I dig the design style.

Yeah!! I love those Kessil mounts! I think I saw them mounted with other sets of LED lights. It's basically a CNC'd aluminum clamp and whatever fits it will work. I will be buying one. ;)

For sure! I think my favorite part about those mounts is that it hides the wires really well!

Just visited the store this weekend.
If you're looking to see their signature SPS I would recommend to wait until they restock.
All I saw was a small frag of avenger which is totally brown.
Having said that, the store is super clean and they have the cross hatch trigger which is a very handsome fish.

What is "signature SPS"? I've been out of the hobby for about 5 years or so. Sometimes I feel like I should be buying ecstasy.

Oh I see. IMO those frags look great a lot of times when you turn the lights all blue on the tank. I'm not a fan of blued out tanks anyway.

But yeah that's a lot of money.

prices on corals can be ****in crazy. excuse my language but its bs. i guess if people with money are willing to spend it then there will be dealers. craaaaazy

i don't care how nice corals look, most all corals should be 1 dollar a frag. too many rich folks willing to spend crazy money so they can show off lol

gold and diamonds are cheaper . **** who would want to sell drugs these days when you can rip people off with coral.

Wife and myself are planning on visiting this saturday for some nice SPS frags. So should we just wait until they restock? First time to visit and we're a bit excited. Hmm.. I guess, Neptune Aquatic should be the priority then.

Thanks.

Just go and pay them a visit. They're all super nice in there and the store is really a sight to see. I was in there last week and yeah, although they had 2 out of 10 frag tanks empty, there still was a whole lot to see in the 8 other tanks. They still have a lot of stuff..and the drive really isn't that far is it?

Typical Bay Area... "Uhhhh, 20 minute drive? Maybe some other time" lol

Not you. I'm just saying that's what a lot of other guys say. ;)

I agree with spoon, if you're heading out to neptune then it's only another 15 mins to Fremont. It's worth a trip just to see that trigger and the black tang.

Let us know if they restock their signature SPS.

Wife decided to head down to Neptune and grab a few things instead. We will visit Fremont on next payday. lol

I will keep you guys posted. Thanks guys.

Baja Reef has some good fish selections, especially a new very cool sailfin blenny I haven't seen before. They're only about 5-10 minutes away from each other, so even more of an incentive to go there since you can knock out two stores in one trip. :)
