don't do it if you have a mixed reef i have a friend that tried one a year ago he kept him in quarantine for 6 months had him eating pellets and flakes he was eating everything so he figured the chance of him going after any coral was slim once introduced to the main display in a matter of hours ate over $800 of coralls so beware

Butterflyfish aren't for every reef... Mixed reefs, probably not so much. Soft corals or stony corals would be the best bet, but nothing is really safe. If you look around lots of people are pushing the boundaries and having success.
i wasnt considering putting one in my tank, i was jus curious what people might have experience or info... i saw the "with caution" on live aquaria, and it sparked my curiousity... thanks for the input guys
