reef safe triggers

I know that a ton of people have proboly already asked this but is there a reef safe trigger that wont go after ornimental shrimp corals and hermits. They are my favorite kind of fish and I've herd conflicting reports so I figure I'll ask my fellow aquarists.

There is no given with triggers, but...

For my trigger (and specifically mine, your milage may very)... I added him after ornimental shrimp and he has not been a problem...

He's a blue chin... here is a pic:

I've herd that pink tailed triggers are pretty safe

Any trigger fish will attack an invertabrate if you do not follow a special techique.
I keep 2 niger triggers and 1 Humu-humu trigger with hermit crabs, snails, and seastars. Yet my triggers never attack my invertabrates. Do you know why?
First of all, trigger fish love eating! However, they do not like finding there food. Therefore if you feed your triggers often, they might just not even bother attacking your invertabrates.
Another method is to put the invertabrates into the tank before your put your triggers in. This works since a trigger fish always has the idea that he is king and he gets to eat anything he wants. If you put the invertabrates in first, your trigger fish will notice that he is not king since occupants have already taken up space in the tank!

crosshatch is the most magnificent trigger I have seen and I know of people who keep them in reefs with no problem...

Not sure if they also have invertabrates.

i have 2 sargassums in my reef. ive also had a crosshatch but he jumped out on me.

Only a few triggers are reefsafe.

Sargassums, Pink tails, blue chins/throats, and Crosshatches. I have a pair of Crosshatches in my 400 and they are beautiful, intelligent fish.

My male spits water at me for me to hurry up and feed him and loves to be petted.

Sargassum, Niger, Blue Throat, Pink tails, and Crosshatch Triggers are all reef safe but in most cases to have them not eat ornimental shrimps and crustaceans add the shrimp first

How are the Blue Throats with smaller fish? Like Royal Grammas, Chromis, Clown Gobies, Hawks, Fairy Wrasses, Clowns, etc.

They are great with all my fish. If you visit my website you can see what I have for fish and he doesn't re-arrange anything.

Except the Vlaminigii all those fish I believe are present.

What is a good tank size for a trigger? I have a 29 and am looking for some new fish and just picked up on the thread.

Most triggers (that are common in the trade) I would say min 125, but preferable a 180...

They like to swim....
