Title pretty much sums it up. Any suggestions for a reef safe wrasse that can get by on 1 feeding per day?

I have possum wrasse & pink striped wrasse currently. I have never seen the possum eat any prepared food. The pink eats well. I think they must both eat pods.

I really like the flasher wrasses but have been told they need multiple feedings per day. If anyone agrees or disagrees with that statement, I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks everyone.

Our leopard wrasse more or less sustains herself eating off the rocks but will eat as much as we feed the tanks too!

I've got an auto feeder. Aren't a lot of wrasses picky eaters?

All mine in my sig line eat anything I grow in. Of those the leopard is the only tough one but he picks at pellets. I travel for work so the auto feeder is a must. I've had flashers before and they ate whatever in my experience. When I am home I have the feeder (one feed instead of three) and then also squirt in some mix of different frozen throughout the day. I think if you could do a round or two of dry food and then the frozen at night (or whatever your work schedule allows) then you could have whatever flasher or fairy or halichoeres wrasse I would think. If you plan on buying from a LFS, ask them to feed pellets or flake to see the feeding response. My wrasses also go nuts for nori lol
